ResQ privacy policy
Effective November 1, 2026. ResQ is a browser extension made by SWL Holdings.
What ResQ stores
- Your YouTube queues: video IDs, titles, channel names, lengths, the queue’s ID and when it was saved. These come from the youtube.com tabs you open.
- They’re kept in your browser’s extension storage on your device. You can export them to a file, import them, or delete them at any time from the extension. Uninstalling ResQ deletes them.
Browsing history
Only when you click Scan my history, ResQ reads your browser history on your device to find YouTube queue links (youtube.com addresses containing list=TLPQ). Nothing else from your history is kept, and none of it leaves your device.
Who ResQ talks to
Only youtube.com, from your own YouTube tabs and with your existing YouTube sign-in, to read queues, check whether an older queue still exists, and create a merged queue when you ask for one. ResQ never sees or stores your password.
ResQ has no servers of its own. It doesn’t collect analytics, show ads, or sell, share or transfer your data to anyone.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Questions: use the support link on the ResQ page in the Chrome Web Store.
